Hyla Park Nature Preserve

Hyla park is located on  the north side in the city of Fredericton.  The park is owned by the city however it is leased out to the Nature Trust.  The Nature Trust has leased this property since 1995 to preserve the gray tree frog. 



The Park is about 19 acres and offers a small network of trails for hiking enjoyment The park used to be a gravel pit and an old race track, however Hyla Park  is now the first Amphibian Park of Canada and has been featured in the pages of the National Geographic Magazine.




The Park offered nice trails with board walks it was very nice maintained however bug spray is recommended





The Park is also home to six other species of frogs and toads as well as many birds.
