Fredericton Walking Bridge and Light house

During the winter months some of these trails are groomed for skiers, walkers and even some bird watching.

Fredericton has approximately 80 km of multi-use trails that are accessible to pedestrians, cyclists and wheelchairs.

In 1997 this  train bridge was converted for use by pedestrians and cyclists.  This bridge is enjoyed by many people year round.

This old light house is now a museum, ice cream parlor and tourist spot. There sure is lots of historical information about New Brunswick’s Capital on your way up to the top.  This museum is very inexpensive and the view from the top is breath taking.  The light house has a nice patio overlooking the river.  A perfect spot to enjoy a delicious ice cream cone.

The green along both sides of the river are well maintained.
