Mactaquac

This place is just up the road before Mactaquac golf coarse on highway 105 heading from Fredericton.  It's on the right just at the top of the hill past the gas station.  Look for the water tower.  There is lots of parking just off the road by the tower so you can enjoy it in the winter .

In summer you can drive in further to a beautiful spot over looking a beaver pond.  From here you can find many different trails by looking on the posted map.  There are even washroom facilities there.

There is even a portion of the trail the is wheelchair accessible.

These trails are very easy going and maintained well.  This is a great place to spend the day walking in the woods.

  1. Is this part of the Mactaquac Provincial Park and as such are there visitor fees/parking fees?
