The first Bishop of the Cathedral was Bishop John Medley who arrive in Fredericton June 19, 1845 at the age of 40. When John arrive he immediately starting the planning for the construction of the new cathedral.  The Catherdral was modeled after St. Mary’s Snettisham, Norfolk and even to this day the two cathedrals are very similar .  The architectural style of these cathedrals is known as Revived Gothic.

Part of the North Side River Front Trail was still flooded today.

Walk so Kids Can Talk  brought out many walkers and joggers today even in the rainy weather

This old light house is now a museum, ice cream parlor and tourist spot. There sure is lots of historical information about New Brunswick’s Capital on your way up to the top.  This museum is very inexpensive and the view from the top is breath taking.  The light house has a nice patio overlooking the river.  A perfect spot to enjoy a delicious ice cream cone.
